Birindelli angles in a long ball from deep; the Cesena defence fail to head the pass clear, Palladino picks it up on the byeline and sends the ball back across goal. Turci palms the ball away but only as far as Del Piero who duly smashes in the first of the night. 1-0

GOAL!!! Textbook football from the Bianconeri. Del Piero feeds Balzaretti deep on the left wing. The fullback looks up and plays an inch-perfect cross towards the near post. Trezeguet sneaks in front of his marker and glances a trademark header into the far side of the net. 2-0

後半17分。点を取られる。
GOAL. Cesena pull one back. Juventus fail to deal with a long ball from midfield and, under pressure from Birindelli and Kovac, Papa Waigo gets the faintest of touches with his head to lift the ball over the oncoming Mirante. Ugly but effective. 2-1
